Third Annual Quilt Display
A third annual quilt display for the Women of St. Francis Parish took place on Sept. 23th. St. Francis has a group of quilters who meet on Mondays bimonthly. The local group invited all the quilters of the parish to submit their artifacts for an all parish display. Among the 45 quilts received was one joint quilted by the parish quilt group to be raffled as a benefit for Underground Railroad. The women were able to raise $710.00 for this agency which serves as a shelter for victims of domestic violance. Many good projects have resulted from the energy of our parish quilters. We welcome newcomers. Come join us.
